A few minutes walk and you will find a playground, several mountain trails that will bring you through meadows and woods, the slopes for alpine and Nordic skiing, shops and services, and much more.

YOU CAN ENJOY OUR SAUNA, GYM AND BIKES

For your relax, in Casa Alpenplick, on request, you can access “Insra Dille”, our small but well-equipped wellness center, where you can find the sauna (only in winter), a mini-gym and a hydroshower.
UPON REQUEST AND ON A FEE

During the summer months, you will find deckchairs and sunshades on the garden around our two houses, where you can enjoy the sun, together with your children. Those who like reading will find the most insightful publications on our village, Sappada.

At your disposal, there are also some bikes, which can be used for your excursions to Lake Zieglhütte or Cima sappada, or, for the more trained, up to the Piave Springs.

Our apartments are situated in the best part of the village. You can enjoy an extraordinary panoramic view, the peaceful environment, and the enchanting spots and traditions of Sappada Vecchia – Sappada Autentica. Nearby you will find the grocery store, dairy, bar, pizzeria, restaurants, ATM, wine shop, appliances, newsstand, tobacconist, and, for the most refined palates, the michelin star restaurant restaurant “Laite”, which is just a short walk from our accommodation. In a ten minute walk you will reach the town hall, the bank, the post office, the children playground, Nevelandia, the ski slopes and the entrance of the hiking trails.

Welcome to Sappada - Plodn

Sappada (Plodn, in the local idiom) is an enchanting ethnic island, among the Dolomites, the Carnic Alps and Austria; it extends over 4 km, at an altitude between 1.200 and 2.697 meters above sea level. The village is animate, real, unique. Here tourism perfectly coexists with the environment, as well as with the mountain farming, which is still practiced, and the local handcrafts; you can enjoy all these activities by walking along the 3 km of road Sappada Vecchia – Sappada Autentica, where you will discover our identities: the typical wooden buildings with flowered balconies, the still functioning stables, our fountains, churches, nativity scenes, carnival and much more. This is what makes Sappada a unique place for your holidays, … “s’Plodn is lai ans” (English: There is only one Plodn).You will find as well an unspoiled nature, walking and hiking trails along the Piave river of up to the highest mountain peaks, through the woods and unforgettable views. But Sappada also offers the amusement park Nevelandia (among the most appreciated in the Alps), skiing slopes, ice skating, rock and ice climbing, climbing routes (ferrata), golf, equitation, and all the best you can imagine.
